Overall, BlueStacks App Player is the perfect tool to seamlessly emulate an Android device on your Windows computer.īlueStacks App Player has a few different control options. ![]() Finally, you can also play music in the background while working on another app. With this program, you can also share images on your Windows computer to social networks on BlueStacks, which is a great feature for anyone who works on a PC. Not only that, but with BlueStacks you can record your screen, which means you can create HD gameplay videos and share them online. All of the program's other features are used in the same way as a normal Android device. There are few different ways to download apps: from the emulator's app store, by going to Google Play from its web browser, or by downloading an APK. Once the program is up and running, you can download, run, and use Android apps, and don't have to worry about compatibility issues. This means that any user can use BlueStacks, even if they have never used an emulator before. Using this program on your Windows computer is just like using a normal Android device, and it's easy to set up. This program creates a virtual device that you can easily manage from its main menu, as well as quickly download and install a variety of apps as if you were working on a real Android device. With the valuable insights and observations we gleaned from the beta, we’ve been able to further tweak our Android emulator to optimize its resource usage and consume, on average, 50% less RAM than BlueStacks 4, and even to run on older CPUs.BlueStacks App Player is an easy-to-use program that you can use to run Android apps on your PC. We’re going to be blunt here that bit up there where we said BlueStacks 5 is the lightest and fastest it’s ever been is not hyperbole. With that being said, if you were on the fence about whether or not your old PC was good enough to run BlueStacks 4, it’s very likely that it will not only run BlueStacks 5, but it might run with performance that will amaze you. In fact, one of the most frequent user comments about BlueStacks 5 was from people with older computers that said they were able to actually enjoy their favorite Android games on PC, when in the past it had been impossible. However, this is the lightest and fastest our emulator has ever been, which means that it will run even on computers that, in the past, would’ve been too weak to run BlueStacks 4. If your PC is significantly underpowered, you will continue seeing issues even on BlueStacks 5. Of course, most of these performance benefits are dependent on your PC fulfilling the requirements of the emulator. The result is the most powerful emulator to date that will allow you to enjoy all your favorite mobile games on PC, with absolutely no lag, slowdowns, frame drops, stutter, or any other performance issues. This next version of our Android app player was built from scratch and features an improved engine that is the product of thousands of engineering man-hours. One of the core strengths of the new BlueStacks 5 is its lag-free gaming. ![]() With that being said, and if you’re still not convinced, here are seven good reasons why you should download and try the new BlueStacks 5. BlueStacks 5, on the other hand, vastly outshines BlueStacks 4, which definitely says a lot. To put it into perspective, BlueStacks 4 was already far superior to the competition, providing the very best experience, so far. As we said on another occasion: You asked, and we delivered-BlueStacks 5 is, by far, our finest creation, built from the ground up to provide the best Android gameplay on your PC, at a fraction of the resource cost of the previous version.

![]() Ashes of the SingularityĪshes of the Singularity, running on Oxide’s custom Nitrous engine, was an early standard-bearer for DirectX 12, and many months later it’s still the premier game for seeing what next-gen graphics technologies have to offer. In some scenarios the older RX 470 even keeps pace with the RX 570. The three budget-friendly cards trade blows yet again. Far Cry Primalįar Cry Primal is yet another Ubisoft game, but it’s powered by a different engine than The Division-the latest version of the long-running and well-respected Dunia engine. The 3GB capacity of Nvidia’s $200 graphics card just isn’t ideal for high-resolution gaming. The Aorus RX 570 narrows the gap mightily at 1440p resolution, however-as does the RX 470, as it once again delivers performance the slimmest of hairs behind its successor. As part of the RX 500 announcement, AMD’s also adding Radeon Chill support for League of Legends and Dota 2-two of the most-played games on the planet.Įnough blabber. The RX 500 series adds a new power state that reduces energy demands when you’re idle, using a multi-monitor setup, or watching media, for example. AMDĪMD combats that with some software tricks, however. Those higher speeds don’t come magically the Radeon RX 570 demands more power despite the optimized manufacturing process, with a 150-watt TDP compared to the RX 470’s 120W. That’s not much of an increase on the high end but it’s a noticeable increase to baseline speeds, and AMD’s partners can crank things even further with factory overclocks. Whereas the RX 470 ranged from a mere 926MHz base clock to a 1,206MHz boost clock, the new Radeon RX 570 rocks 1,168MHz base and 1,244MHz boost clocks. Those manufacturing process optimizations let AMD crank Polaris’s clock speeds higher. The original Polaris cards were pushed to the edge of their capabilities and didn’t have much overclocking headroom. Under the hood, the Radeon RX 570 sees very slight increases to its memory bandwidth, peak texture fill-rate, and peak compute performance, but the real draw here is the clock speeds. It’s $10 cheaper this generation, though, which greatly improves its value proposition compared to the $200, 4GB RX 580. The Radeon RX 570 still has the same underlying GPU design, the same memory speeds, the same number of texture units, and-despite the chart below, which lists only one capacity-the same 4GB and 8GB memory options as the RX 470. Little has changed from their predecessors. Here’s a look at the technical specs for the Radeon RX 570 and RX 580 (we reviewed Sapphire’s take on the latter). Sometimes certain medications can cause nerve damage, but in many situations their benefits outweigh their side effects. Damaged nerves can cause tingling and numbness in your arms. When this occurs and it affects the nerves, it is called alcoholic neuropathy. I’m a long-time LastPass user but now every browser I use asks me to save passwords and declares that they are secure. This has an advantage on IOS devices because LastPass requires a copy/paste. I get this request on Chrome all the time, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it shows up on the new Firefox 55.0.3 I just installed. I haven’t bothered to look how to stop them, but I may. What I’m finding is that I start using them because of the convenience between my PC and my IOS devices. I have started mindlessly asking the passwords to be saved when I am running a browser on IOS (but never when I’m on the PC) just so that I don’t have the complications involved with LastPass. I’m sure I have passwords stored all over the place at this point! I use many browsers, sometimes on purpose and sometimes because I’m taken there (like Gmail pushes to Chrome). ![]() When you install a web browser, the default setting is to offer to save passwords. This can be turned off, and probably should be on most browsers, since it can conflict with LastPass. When you upgrade to the latest version of a web browser, it might flip that switch back on even after you’ve shut it off. This can also happen if you use the account syncing capabilities of the web browser. So for Chrome, if you’re signed into your Google account and add the Chrome browser to a new computer or device, that new computer or device may be setup with Save Passwords turned on, and then the syncing process turns that feature on for all your other computers/devices Chrome installations. The same think can happen with Firefox (signed in), and Safari (using your Apple ID and Keychain). Fortunately, other than when adding a new computer or device, you can turn off the Save Passwords feature on one computer/device, and that will turn it off on all the other computers/devices. Of course, you have to do this separately for each web browser you use (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.). I will tell you that for iOS (and my Macbook), I let the Apple Keychain also store my website username/password combinations, in addition to having them stored on LastPass. This just makes it easier on iOS to log into websites, saving the step of calling up LastPass to fill in credentials. ![]() While you may have been using the cut-and-paste approach (which you have to for most apps), the Safari web browser (and Chrome and Firefox) on iOS can fill in the credentials faster using the iOS Share link. |
